Goldwing

When pulling a Teardrop trailer, I had a huge blindspot trying to see over or through the trailer behind me.  I thought at first of getting a video camera, with a display upfront, but one day came up with a brilliant solution, the Monster Goldwing.

The idea, weld a GL1000 frame right on top of a GL1100 frame to raise me up high enough to see right over the tear drop trailer.  A quick mockup looked as such.

For now the Monster goldwing is just a dream, but I am pretty sure I have all the main logistics figured out, connecting the forks, found a place that makes custom throttle, choke, & clutch cables, a sidecar will hold it upright.  The only thing I have not completely figured out is how to re-locate the shifter, but I have a heel toe shifter that I should be able to finagle something out of.

I will update this page as more develops, right now she's just a couple of cut up frames and a dream, But thats a start!!!
